Legend of Stonecalibur

Based loosely on Authurian myth, Legend of Stonecalibur tells the tale of a peasant who is not quite worthy enough to pull excalibur from the stone. Desperate to save his village, the protagonist wields the legendary sword anyway - along with its boulder home.
This project is a vertical slice built using Unreal that mainly focuses around a momentum mechanic. The player spins a controller joystick (or circle the character with a mouse cursor) to build up momentum in a circular direction to spin into and attack enemies.
My main areas of focus where in early prototyping, design, and enemy AI.
This was a class project involving 5 members during my graduate program.
OBSERVERA
Designer / Programmer
OBSERVERA is a serious game developed in Unity for the Statens Veterinärmedicinska Anstalt (SVA) to assist players on how to prepare for and tackle foot and mouth disease using the SVA's simulation models.
During this project, some of my areas of focus were generating terrain, creating the mini-map, and helping out with the UI.
This game was part of my Project Serious Games class in my graduate program.
Puzzle Plane

In Puzzle Plane, you wake up stuck in a puzzle piece. You must explore and beat mini-games to keep unlocking more pieces until you are eventually able to escape.
This game was the capstone project for my Digital Media Arts and Engineering Technology minor during my bachelor's degree.
